Through online printing you can get business cards, flyers and even roller banners at an affordable price and with super speedy turnaround. But how can you be sure you’ve made a quality investment in your business?

We know that the best way for you to reach out to customers is through high-quality, professional print that makes you look amazing. That’s why we make sure all of our quality management systems are ISO certified against the 9001:2015 Standard and are assessed yearly.

We deliver high quality through 4 key pillars: people, equipment, materials and processes. Here’s a little bit more on how exactly we make sure the finished print product you receive is the high quality your business deserves.

People

ISO 9001 is the recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. So, to meet this standard, we need to make sure all instantprint production employees are expertly trained to use our state-of-the-art printing equipment. Every print product you order has been printed by the pros!

We assess employees against the ISO to identify any areas that need improvement and offer both external and internal training. For example, our Indigo operators spend a week in Barcelona as part of a rigorous process where the training is completely expert led. All operators who undertake external training then share the knowledge and skills they’ve developed internally with other machine operators.

Office staff, such as our 5-star customer service team, are also trained to help you out with any queries you might have about your order. From full factory tours to an NCR (non-conformance reporting) reference and guidance booklet detailing how to apply fixes to issues as quickly and effectively as possible, our customer service team are well-equipped to help resolve any questions. By reporting any non-conformance issues, this means we always take immediate corrective action, which helps us make sure we’re always working towards creating quality print first time, every time.

We also have company-wide values and guidelines that employees follow every day, in every task they complete. These include Positive & Professional and Think Big. By making sure we’re working towards the same goals and attitudes, we can positively affect the quality of your print.

Equipment

As well as investing in our people, we also focus on continually investing in our equipment and machinery – like our recent £3.25m investment. We aim to be at the forefront of the online printing industry, which means investing in cutting edge technology to ensure print quality is the highest it can be for our customers.

Most recently, we’ve invested in the Landa S10P Nanographic Printing® Press which boasts unparalleled sharpness and colour. And with ink ejectors offering 1200 dpi resolution, your print is sure to show customers you mean business.

Materials

In delivering the highest quality print, we are also committed to the protection of the environment and the prevention of pollution by reducing our impact on the environment. 100% of the paper we use is sustainably sourced and certified by FSC.

As well as this, all of the paper we use for printing is either FSC Mix or FSC Recycled. So, not only is it sustainable sourced, but it also means we’re using the greenest options available to us. For more information, check out our blog to find out how environmentally friendly we are.

As part of our tendering process, we test lots of different samples of paper to determine the best one for us and for our customers. That way, we know that the quality of the paper we use is what our customers would expect from us.

Processes

How do we keep on top of all the different products we can print? We have a standard operating procedure (SOP) for each process! These guides are written so that, theoretically, anyone should be able to print a particular product by reading how to do it.

These procedures include the stages you’d have to take to print that product, the minimum quality standards and things you should check as you go along. These stages all conform with the quality standards set out in the ISO.

Another process we have in place for making sure your print looks awesome is our 10 point quality check. This is carried out by our eagle-eyed Studio team, which is made up of experienced graphic designers who specialise in setting documents up for online printing. Click here to find out more!

Our people, equipment, materials and processes are all essential for high quality online printing. All of these elements together mean we can help your business flourish with print that makes you look amazing!
