What paper type should I choose?
Our A5 and A4 stapled booklets are printed on premium 150gsm Silk stock throughout, including the cover. This silk-coated paper has a smooth, professional finish with a subtle sheen that helps colours appear vibrant and crisp while remaining easy to handle.
150gsm Silk
- Inner Pages: Lightweight yet high quality, ideal for brochures, catalogues, newsletters and promotional booklets.
- Self Cover: The cover is printed on the same 150gsm Silk stock as the inner pages, creating a consistent and professional finish throughout.
What cover type should I choose?
Our A5 and A4 stapled booklets are produced with a 150gsm Silk self cover. This means the cover is printed on the same premium silk stock as the inner pages for a clean, consistent finish throughout.
150gsm Silk offers the perfect balance between durability and flexibility, making it ideal for brochures, event guides, catalogues and marketing materials.
What does ‘pp’ mean?
‘Pp’ refers to printed pages. Four of these pages are used for the cover (front, back and inside covers).
How will my booklets be printed?
Your A5 and A4 stapled booklets are printed using our advanced digital and lithographic presses to ensure sharp detail, vibrant colour and consistent quality throughout.
Once printed, booklets are professionally stitched and finished on our high-speed binding equipment for a precise and durable result.
When will my booklets be delivered?
We offer fast turnaround options on our A5 and A4 stapled booklets, including next working day delivery on selected orders.
Order and approve your artwork by 6:30pm to qualify for your selected delivery date.
Standard delivery is £4.99, or free when you spend over £75. You can also upgrade to pre-noon delivery for £9.99.
How do I upload my booklet design?
Upload your artwork using our website uploader after ordering, where you can proof and approve it.

How do I add foil to my print?
Foil finishing is not available on our A5 and A4 stapled booklet range. These booklets are produced using premium 150gsm Silk stock throughout for a clean, professional finish.
How can I use my booklets?
A5 and A4 stapled booklets are a versatile way to showcase information, products and promotions in a professional format.
A5 stapled booklets are ideal for compact, easy-to-carry marketing materials such as event handouts, newsletters, small catalogues, takeaway menus and direct mail inserts. Their smaller size makes them perfect for exhibitions, trade shows and promotional campaigns.
A4 stapled booklets are better suited to content-heavy designs that need more space. They work well for company reports, product brochures, presentations, prospectuses, instruction manuals and detailed catalogues where larger imagery and readable layouts are important.

Standard Turnarounds
For our standard turnaround and delivery options, you have until 6:30pm to order and approve your artwork. Simply select an option above with a delivery date that suits you and we’ll ensure it arrives with you on time.
Extended Areas
If your delivery address is in one of the postcodes highlighted on our delivery help page as an extended area, delivery will take a further working day.
Delivery Prices
Our standard delivery cost is £4.99, which is DPD tracked delivery. You can also upgrade to DPD pre-noon delivery for £9.99. Standard delivery is free on orders over £75. You'll be able to select your delivery option at the checkout. For more information, please see our delivery help page.

Our blank templates are set up to the right size with guides that include where your design will be cut and the safe area for text. After creating your artwork you can upload once you have added your print to the basket.

1. Use our free templates
Select 'customise a free template' after you add your print to the basket. In our design tool, you'll also have the option to start with a blank template so you can build your own design.
2. Design Yourself
Use the product measurements to the right to create a design in a third-party tool. Or download one of our blank templates that can be found under the images of the product.
Upload Your Design
After adding your print to the basket, our proofing modal will appear. This will check for common issues and generate a 'proof' – simply check and approve this proof to confirm your order! Alternatively, you can email your artwork after purchase to artwork@instantprint.co.uk .
