Every instantprint roller banner arrives ready to use: the printed graphic comes pre-fitted in its metal cassette, with the support pole and a free carry case, so you don't need a separate stand. The 800mm and 1000mm widths come with 1 support pole, and the 1200mm and 1500mm widths come with 2. Premium roller banners come with a padded carry case.

instantprint's roller banners are all 2000mm tall, in 4 widths: 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm and 1500mm. Custom sizes aren't available. The 800mm and 1000mm widths come with a standard or premium base, while the 1200mm and 1500mm widths have a standard base and give more space for images and branding.

For a tabletop display, choose desktop roller banners instead.

The difference is the base. instantprint's standard roller banner has a squared cassette with swing-out stabilising feet, while the premium version has a rounded cassette with concealed feet and a padded carry case. Both use the same 330gsm PVC graphic. Premium is available on the 800mm and 1000mm widths only, so choose it when the base will be on show, such as at a reception desk.

You can order just 1 roller banner from instantprint. The price depends on the width, base style, turnaround and quantity, and ordering 2 or more copies of the same design lowers the price per banner. Prices in the price table exclude VAT and delivery; your basket shows the full total, including VAT, before you pay.

Choose by the date you need your banner. instantprint's Next Day turnaround prints and dispatches it the same day when you approve by the 5pm Next Day cut-off, for delivery the next working day. Faster prints in 1 working day and Fast in 4 working days; approve by the 6:30pm Faster or Fast cut-off, and delivery follows 1 working day after printing. Fast is the lowest-cost option of the 3.

Order and approve your proof by the 5pm Next Day cut-off and instantprint prints and dispatches your banner the same day, for delivery the next working day. Uploading artwork isn't enough on its own; the proof must be approved. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Saturday delivery is available for eligible orders when it's offered at checkout. Extended delivery areas take 1 extra working day.

Place the cassette on a level floor and, on a standard base, swing out the feet. Fit the support pole into the base, then pull the graphic up slowly and hook it onto the top of the pole. instantprint's 1200mm and 1500mm banners use 2 poles, 1 at each end of the cassette, and 2 people make setup easier. To pack away, unhook the graphic and guide it slowly back down.

For more impact on a larger stand, the 1200mm and 1500mm widths give more space for images and branding, with a standard base and 2 support poles. instantprint prints every roller banner on 330gsm PVC, a strong, flexible plastic that rolls neatly into the base between uses. gsm stands for grams per square metre and describes how heavy the material is. All 4 widths and both bases use the same 330gsm PVC. Banners are printed on an EFI Vutek Q3r wide-format printer and go through a 10-point quality check.

No. instantprint's roller banners are for indoor use only, because the freestanding cassette and pole aren't built to cope with wind and rain. For outdoor advertising, choose a PVC banner instead, which is secured to a wall, fence or railing rather than standing on its own base.

No. instantprint's roller banner material isn't fire rated, and this applies to all 4 widths and to both the standard and premium bases. Some exhibitions and venues require fire-rated displays, so check their rules before you order.

The roller banners on this page are single-sided, with 1 printed graphic in each cassette. For a display that's seen from both directions, choose instantprint's double-sided roller banners instead, and check the sizes and delivery date for your chosen options before ordering.

Every instantprint roller banner comes with a free carry case sized for its width and base, and premium banners come with a padded case. The packed case dimensions are approximately:

• 800mm Standard: 82cm × 10cm × 10cm
• 1000mm Standard: 1002cm × 10cm × 10cm
• 1200mm Standard: 1202cm × 10cm × 10cm
• 1500mm Standard: 1502cm × 10cm × 10cm

instantprint has free downloadable roller banner templates in PDF, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator formats, plus an online design tool where you can edit a ready-made design or start from scratch. A bespoke design service isn't available. In Canva, set a custom size of 806 × 2006mm for an 800mm banner, which includes 3mm bleed.

instantprint recommends a print-ready PDF in CMYK, with fonts embedded or outlined and 3mm bleed on every edge. JPEG files work too and are preferred to PNG; you can upload a PNG, but its colours change when it's converted for print. From Canva, download as PDF Print and select CMYK on a premium account. From Photoshop or Illustrator, export a PDF rather than uploading PSD or AI files.

Set up an 800mm banner at 806 × 2006mm, which includes 3mm bleed on every edge, or at 800 × 2000mm if your software adds bleed for you. instantprint recommends images of at least 150dpi at full printed size, or 300dpi for finer detail: about 4724 × 11811 pixels at 150dpi, or 9449 × 23622 pixels at 300dpi, excluding bleed. Keep text and logos inside the safe area, 3mm in from the cut.

Add your roller banner to the basket and you'll be prompted to upload your artwork, or you can upload it later from the basket. Every instantprint order includes a free artwork check, and the studio team can add bleed if you've forgotten it. You'll approve a digital proof before printing; physical proofs aren't available. Your delivery date counts from when you approve the proof.

instantprint prints roller banners in full-colour CMYK only, so Pantone colours can't be printed directly; convert your brand colours to their CMYK values for the closest match. Foil and metallic finishes aren't available, so gold prints as a flat CMYK colour without a metallic shine. The metal cassette is silver only, so a black base isn't available either.

Add each different design to the basket as a separate item with its own artwork. For identical banners, choose 1 design and increase the quantity, which gets you instantprint's bulk pricing on multiple copies of the same design. For Next Day delivery, every design's proof needs approving by the 5pm Next Day cut-off.

instantprint calculates the delivery price in your basket, based on the product and quantity you order, and standard delivery is free on orders over £75. Orders are sent by tracked delivery, with an upgrade to pre-noon delivery available at checkout, and you'll see the exact delivery date before you pay. instantprint delivers to UK event venues that accept courier deliveries. Choose a delivery date at least 1 working day before your event, check the venue's receiving hours, and include any company name, event name or stand number it needs in the delivery address. Delivery outside the UK isn't available.

instantprint's Split Delivery sends 1 order to 2 or more UK addresses, with the quantity divided between them. Choose it in your basket, then add your addresses at checkout or finish setting it up later in My Orders. The fee depends on how many boxes go to each address, isn't covered by free delivery over £75 and is shown before you pay. Split orders arrive later than the Next Day, Faster and Fast dates.

Enter a valid code in the voucher field in instantprint's basket and check the updated total. Charity and first-order offers have eligibility rules and may exclude some products, so check the current offers for terms. For sign-off before you buy, use Save as Quote in the basket to keep your chosen width, base, turnaround and quantity.

instantprint sells roller banners as complete units, with the graphic pre-fitted in the cassette. Replacement graphics, replacement poles and blank units aren't available, so a new design means ordering a new roller banner. If you want to swap graphics on the same frame, choose stretch fabric displays instead.

instantprint's packaging is widely recyclable, including the plastic, but this applies to the packaging only. The graphic is PVC, so it isn't biodegradable and can't go in paper recycling; ask your local waste provider how to dispose of the PVC graphic and the metal base separately. instantprint doesn't offer a take-back scheme, but storing your banner in its case lets you reuse it at future events.
