How much weight can the paper bags hold?

Can you print in full colour on the paper bags?
Yes, we print your design in full colour using CMYK. The print is positioned in the centre of the bag and doesn’t extend to the edges.
How are the handles attached?
The flat handles are securely taped on the inside of the bag, with reinforcement patches for Medium, Large, and X-Large sizes.
Is double-sided printing available? Can the back have a different design?
At the moment, we offer single-sided printing only. However, double-sided printing is something we're considering for the future.
Can any laminate or finishing be added to this product?
Unfortunately not, the product is only available on Kraft, which cannot be laminated or embellished.
What area can be printed on?
The bags are currently printed only on the front, and the printable area for each flat handle bag size is as follows:
- Small: 120mm x 120mm
- Medium: 170mm x 170mm
- Large: 200mm x 200mm
- X-Large: 220mm x 220mm

Are the bags recyclable?
Yes! Our Kraft paper bags are 100% recyclable.
Are the paper bags food safe?
Our bags aren’t food-safe certified for direct contact with food. However, they’re perfect for carrying food that’s already packaged in certified containers or boxes.
Are the paper bags splash-resistant or waterproof?
Our Kraft paper bags aren’t waterproof or splash-resistant, so we recommend keeping them away from liquids to maintain their strength and appearance.
Are there any colour restrictions when printing on Brown Kraft paper bags?
Yes – we’re unable to print white ink on Brown Kraft. Due to the natural texture and absorbency of the material, it will give artwork a rustic, softened look.
Do the bags arrive assembled?
Yes! All of our paper bags arrive fully assembled — simply take them out of the packaging and they’re ready to use.
What colours are the paper bags available in?
Our paper bags are available in two classic options: White Kraft and Brown Kraft.
Will my bags all be the same colour?
Natural variations in the raw materials and production processes can still lead to minor colour differences.

Standard Turnarounds
For our standard turnaround and delivery options, you have until 6:30pm to order and approve your artwork. Simply select an option above with a delivery date that suits you and we’ll ensure it arrives with you on time.
Extended Areas
If your delivery address is in one of the postcodes highlighted on our delivery help page as an extended area, delivery will take a further working day.
Delivery Prices
Our standard delivery cost is £4.99, which is DPD tracked delivery. You can also upgrade to DPD pre-noon delivery for £9.99. Standard delivery is free on orders over £75. You'll be able to select your delivery option at the checkout. For more information, please see our delivery help page .

Blank Templates
Our blank templates are set up to the right size with guides that include where your design will be cut and the safe area for text. After creating your artwork you can upload once you have added your print to the basket.

1. Use our free templates
Select 'customise a free template' after you add your print to the basket. In our design tool, you'll also have the option to start with a blank template so you can build your own design.
2. Design Yourself
Use the product measurements to the right to create a design in a third-party tool. Or download one of our blank templates that can be found under the images of the product.
Upload Your Design
After adding your print to the basket, our proofing modal will appear. This will check for common issues and generate a 'proof' – simply check and approve this proof to confirm your order! Alternatively, you can email your artwork after purchase to artwork@instantprint.co.uk .
