Frequently Asked Artwork Questions
How many pages are in my notebooks?
Each notebook has 100 pages - plenty of space to write a whole host of important notes. You’ll also be able to choose between plain or lined for the inside pages.
How do I upload my lined notebook design?
When you add your product to the basket, you'll be prompted to upload your design onto our proofing tool. Please note, you will only be able to provide artwork for the covers.
When will my notebooks be delivered?
At instantprint we like to ensure your orders reach you as quickly as possible. Spiral bound notebook orders approved by 6:30pm will be dispatched for delivery within two working days. Delivery takes a further working day. For example, if you approve your order by 6:30pm on a Monday, we’ll dispatch your order on Wednesday and it’ll be delivered on Thursday.
Why is VAT applied to my notebook order?
As notebooks are intended for writing in, VAT is applied as standard. VAT is included in the price shown upon selecting your order quantities.
What stock are notebooks printed on?
The inside pages of your notebook are 90gsm uncoated stock, which is thin, writable paper. The covers are printed on a thick 350gsm silk with a choice of matt or gloss lamination.
Which lamination should I choose?
We offer matt and gloss laminations on our notebook range. Matt lamination gives your print a completely smooth, muted finish whereas gloss makes the cover shiny.
How big is the wire coil?
The wire coil diameter measure 14mm.

Standard Turnarounds
For our standard turnaround and delivery options, you have until 6:30pm to order and approve your artwork. Simply select an option above with a delivery date that suits you and we’ll ensure it arrives with you on time.
Extended Areas
If your delivery address is in one of the postcodes highlighted on our delivery help page as an extended area, delivery will take a further working day.
Delivery Prices
Our standard delivery cost is £4.99, which is DPD tracked delivery. You can also upgrade to DPD pre-noon delivery for £9.99. Standard delivery is free on orders over £75. You'll be able to select your delivery option at the checkout. For more information, please see our delivery help page .

Our blank templates are set up to the right size with guides that include where your design will be cut and the safe area for text. After creating your artwork you can upload once you have added your print to the basket.

Setting Up Your Perfect Bound Book
We recommend you download one of our blank templates that can be found in the templates section or use the product measurements on the right to create a design in a third-party tool.
Please supply your cover and inner pages in separate files and then we’ll put the book together for you and send you a proof. We may need to adjust your artwork to accomodate the spine but we'll contact you if this affects the design of your book.
Setting Up Your Perfect Bound Book
Email your artwork after purchase to artwork@instantprint.co.uk (we recommend using WeTransfer to send large files). Our Studio team will check for common issues and may adjust your spine if needed. A ‘proof’ will be generated which they will email to you – simply approve this proof to confirm your order!
Please note, due to the extra checks that we carry out for this product, it can take up to 4 hours to receive your proof.
