Delivery information

Here’s a quick checklist for setting your artwork up for certificate printing.

  • The finished size of an A4 certificate is 210mm x 297mm, so set your artwork up at 216mm x 303mm to add 3mm bleed to both sides
  • Set your colour mode as CMYK
  • Use high resolution images (at least 300dpi)
  • Embed or flatten your fonts

What are the different stock options?

We print your certificate design on a choice of three stocks:

  • 350gsm conqueror wove is a thick pure white card that gives your save the date cards a soft finish
  • 300gsm mohawk felt cream our most textured stock, this cream stock is ideal for wedding save the date cards
  • 300gsm Tintoretto by Fredrigoni is uncoated for smudge-free ink writing but is felt-marked in texture. Its name derives from that of a famous Italian artist as the stock resembles the paper found in an artist’s sketchpad

Can I write on my certificate?

All of these stocks are uncoated, meaning you can print blank certificates and handwrite straight onto them. You can also include the name in the design and print it filled in if you prefer.

What are Royal Baby Certificates used for?

Historically, the birth announcement of a royal baby was typed on a royal letterhead by the doctor immediately after the birth and sent to Buckingham Palace to be displayed on an easel for the general public to see. The certificate traditionally documents the baby's gender (but no name).

What size are they?

Our certificates are A4 size (210mm x 297mm).

When will they be delivered?

Certificate orders approved by 6:30pm will be dispatched for delivery the next working day. Delivery takes a further working day. For example, if you approved your order by 6:30pm on a Monday, we’d dispatch your order on Tuesday and it’d be delivered on Wednesday.

How do I upload my design?

When you add your save the dates to your basket, you’ll be prompted to upload your artwork or to create a certificate using our free templates. Or, if you want to continue shopping, you can upload your artwork in your basket at a later time.
