Frequently Asked Artwork Questions
Does it matter which side I choose for side 1 and side 2?
Our tent cards are interchangeable so it doesn’t matter which design you upload for each side – all you need to do is turn it around to show off one side or the other!
Why should I add lamination?
Lamination has two main purposes for tent cards: it gives them a particular look and feel, and helps prolong their life!
Once your cards have been printed, lamination is applied over the top, so it acts as an extra protective layer. This is especially useful for café, restaurant and bar use as, although the effect isn’t complete waterproofing, it does help protect them against splashes and means they can be wiped down with a slightly damp cloth if they get dirty.
What lamination should I choose?
If you choose to add lamination to your tent cards, you’ll be able to pick from three different kinds: matt, velvet and gloss.
Matt is a really popular choice, as it takes the shine away from the natural silkiness of the stock, making it easier to read the menu in artificially lit areas where there are lots of bright overhead lights.
Gloss ramps up the high-shine and brightens colours, making it an excellent choice for grabbing attention. Imagine a super glossy magazine cover!
What material are tent cards printed on?
We print our tent cards on 350gsm silk. This is a thick card with a slight bend to it when pushed down, meaning it’s easy to assemble but you can rely on it staying standing.
The thickness is similar to a birthday card, which is also something built to stand up on its own.
How do I assemble my tent cards?
We’ll send your tent cards flat with creases showing you where the folds should go. Follow these creases, expand the bottom out to create a base and voila! Your new free-standing promotional tools are ready to go! No glueing or sticking required.
How do I upload my artwork?
To upload your artwork simply add your order to your basket. Then you’ll get a pop up asking you to upload your tent card design. Upload each side separately. Alternatively, you can upload your artwork to your basket.
If you haven’t got your artwork yet, you can still place an order. Just send your artwork to us at artwork@instantprint.co.uk with your order number and a member of our team will be in touch with a proof for you to approve before we send it down to print.

Standard Turnarounds
For our standard turnaround and delivery options, you have until 6:30pm to order and approve your artwork. Simply select an option above with a delivery date that suits you and we’ll ensure it arrives with you on time.
Extended Areas
If your delivery address is in one of the postcodes highlighted on our delivery information page as an extended area, delivery will take a further working day.
Delivery Prices
Our standard delivery cost is £4.99, and is fully tracked. You can also upgrade to a pre-noon delivery for £9.99. Standard delivery is free on orders over £75. You'll be able to select your delivery option at the checkout. For more information, please see our delivery help page.
