When pictures of some delicious fudge appeared on our Twitter feed, we were instantly hooked - it was our customer Claire from ‘What The Fudge’. Along with circle stickers that she uses for the brand’s beautiful packaging, Claire ordered some eye-catching business cards and a handy roller banner to take to trade fairs, giving an added boost to their presence.
With over 30 flavours of fudge to choose from, we asked Claire to tell us how the business started out.
“What The Fudge began when we had a new kitchen installed at home last summer. I began to spend more time in the kitchen experimenting, and one day I tried to make fudge. My first attempt was ok, but I was determined to make it perfect. After many weeks and a lot of trial and error, I finally perfected it. I showed my family and friends who suggested selling it, so I began to take the necessary steps such as registering with my local council, taking a food & hygiene course and having my kitchen inspected.”
Since What The Fudge first started trading back in November 2014, Claire’s biggest struggle has been keeping up with demand due to the boom in orders. We can easily see why though - this fudge looks amazing and is presented perfectly with her branded packaging.
“I am a mum of four children and am very grateful to be able to work for myself from home. The print products instantprint have supplied me make my products look very professional and I’ve had many compliments on them.
