We know that as a business, you may need support with print for your upcoming marketing campaigns. Combining this knowledge with our dedication to ensuring purchasing print for customers is as quick and easy as possible, our sales team, headed up by Craig Quinn are on hand to ensure that our customers can make the most of print marketing.

We sat with Craig to discover more about his time within the company and learn how the sales team are putting our customers at the forefront of everything we do.

How long have you worked at instantprint and how has your role progressed in that time?

I’ve worked at instantprint for nearly 8 years now! Upon reflection, I’ve had so much progression in my time here. When I first joined the business, I was a Business Development Executive, and now I oversee the sales team as Head of Sales, so there’s been a huge amount of change in the time I’ve been here so far, and I’ve loved every moment of it!

What does the average day look like for a Head of Sales at instantprint?

The average day for me can be quite varied, which I really enjoy! I could go from supporting the team with their sales activity, providing coaching or advice, to interacting with customers, followed by working on reports, budgeting and focussing on our overall strategies. I’m heavily focused on ensuring that we progress as a team and a company, achieving all our goals and milestones along the way.

How does your role fit into the instantprint customer’s journey?

My role as Head of Sales leads me to work closely with customers who need bespoke work, whether that be different sizes, paginations and various stocks and finishes. Whether our customers need advice on how they can create luxurious books or customisation options that don’t appear on the website, we’ll look at how we can support the customer to ensure that they can promote their business exactly how they imagined.

What do you think makes instantprint so unique?

instantprint is really quick to move with the market. I truly believe we adapt well and invest heavily in the right areas. A recent example of this is in our 2nd Landa which has helped us to drive further efficiencies in our state of the art production facility. We’re a market leader in the UK with the latest artwork cutoff times available meaning you can upload artwork and approve it by 5pm and have artwork the very next day. By constantly ensuring that we’re listening to our customers and developing our product range utilising our world class machinery, we’re able to consistently provide high quality print with exceptional service.

What has the sales team been doing recently to support our customers?

There’s been a lot going on in the background through our sales team. We’ve put a lot of into adapting our processes to make sure that our customers receive what they need as quickly as possible. We’re currently averaging under 10 minutes in our response time, meaning that we’re servicing our customers at superfast speeds. As a company, we’re also investing in our perfect bound books range, so our customers are now able to benefit from a large range from higher paginations to more stocks available, and our team has been doing everything possible to help our customers make a positive impact with their book orders.

What are you looking forward to the most in the coming 12 months from instantprint?

The next 12 months are going to be exciting for our team with a focus on our perfect bound book range. We’ve been working hard as a team, liaising with our customers and all departments to ensure that we’re consistently crafting exceptional quality books which our customers are proud of. We’ve spent a lot of time and effort into improving our processes based on customer feedback and we’re looking forward to seeing more positive feedback on the back of their future orders.

How do the sales team help make sure our customers receive the best sales experience possible?

Our team leave no stone unturned! We work closely with our customers to make sure that they get everything they need. As a team, we’re constantly looking to inspire and educate our customers so that they can make the most of their print marketing. I’m proud to say that we’re always working to our agreed deadlines and ensure that we’re capturing all the relevant information to maintain consistency and reduce the risk of errors down the line.

I’m a long term season ticket holder at Rotherham United, and have loved travelling to games both home and away over the years. Away from football, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children creating memories and taking in new experiences as a family.
