Frequently Asked Artwork Questions
What paper are Christmas menus printed on?
We print Christmas menus on a variety of our highest quality stocks. Our silk-coated stock is a thick card that’s smooth to the touch and is a classic option for drinks lists. Our recycled stock is uncoated and slightly rougher in texture, but still a thick card. Kraft stock is earthy-brown in colour and a great option for trendy cafés and restaurants. Uncoated stock has the same thickness as card but a rougher, porous texture similar to notepad paper, meaning ink absorbs better. This makes it a great choice for menus you’re planning to write on.
When will they be delivered?
Christmas menu orders approved by 6:30pm will be dispatched for delivery the next working day. Delivery takes a further working day. For example, if you approved your order by 6:30pm on a Monday, we’d dispatch your order on Tuesday and it’d be delivered on Wednesday.
How to make a Christmas menu
To make your own Christmas menu, you can use a variety of popular design programs, including Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word or a free online tool such as Canva. Set the size of your canvas up as specified in the Artwork Help section of this page, then start adding text and shapes to bring your design to life! Once you’re happy with the design, save your artwork file as a PDF. Add your order to the basket on this page and upload your artwork when prompted.
How do I upload my design?
You can upload your Christmas menu artwork when you place your order. Simply add your product selection to the basket and you’ll be prompted to upload your artwork. Alternatively, you can upload your artwork up to two months after placing an order. To do this, complete your order and then email your artwork to our Studio team at artwork@instantprint.co.uk who’ll then set it up for print for you.

Standard Turnarounds
For our standard turnaround and delivery options, you have until 6:30pm to order and approve your artwork. Simply select an option above with a delivery date that suits you and we’ll ensure it arrives with you on time.
Extended Areas
If your delivery address is in one of the postcodes highlighted on our delivery help page as an extended area, delivery will take a further working day.
Delivery Prices
Our standard delivery cost is £4.99, which is DPD tracked delivery. You can also upgrade to DPD pre-noon delivery for £9.99. Standard delivery is free on orders over £75. You'll be able to select your delivery option at the checkout. For more information, please see our delivery help page .

Artwork Made Easy
1. Set up your artwork in your own design software at the exact custom size you need, then add a 3mm bleed and a 3mm safe zone on all sides. This ensures your design prints edge-to-edge and no important details are lost when the pages are trimmed.
2. Upload your design after adding your flyer to the basket, our proofing tool checks for common issues and generates a proof for you to approve.
3. If you encounter any issues with your artwork that you can't resolve online, you can contact our team at artwork@instantprint.co.uk.
