Here’s how to set up your artwork for order of service printing.
- The closed, finished size of an A5 order of service booklet is 148mm x 210mm, so set your artwork up at 152mm x 216mm to add 3mm bleed to both sides

- Set your colour mode as CMYK
- Use high resolution images (at least 300dpi)

Designing Yourself
When ordering from instantprint you can be confident your artwork is in safe hands. Regardless of how you produce your design every order is checked by our in-house studio team to ensure that the file is print-ready.

Standard Turnaround
If you approve your order by 6:30pm, we’ll dispatch it for delivery within two working days. Delivery then takes a further working day. For example, if you approved your order by 6:30pm on a Monday, we’d dispatch your order on Wednesday and it’d be delivered on Thursday.
Value Turnaround
If there’s no rush, why not save yourself some money with our value turnaround option? This option adds one extra working day to your turnaround time but reduces the overall cost of your order.
If your delivery address is in one of the postcodes highlighted on our delivery information page as an extended area, delivery will take a further working day.

For orders that can fit through a letterbox, you’ll have the option to choose our Royal Mail 1st Class delivery option for £2.99.
Our standard delivery cost is £4.99, which is DPD tracked delivery. You can also upgrade to DPD pre-noon delivery for £9.99. Standard delivery is free on orders over £75

What paper type should I choose?
We print orders of service on 120gsm uncoated stock, which helps give them a traditional look.
What cover type should I choose?
You can either keep the cover the same as the inside pages or make it thicker by choosing the 160gsm uncoated option.
What does ‘pp’ mean?
‘Pp’ refers to printed pages.
How will my orders of service be printed?
We print stapled orders of service inside pages on our Truepress. The covers are printed separately on our iGen press or lithographically using our Heidelberg. They’re then stitched together with our StitchLiner.
When will they be delivered?
Booklet orders approved by 6:30pm will be dispatched for delivery within three working days. Delivery takes a further working day. For example, if you approved your order by 6:30pm on a Monday, we’d dispatch your order on Thursday and it’d be delivered on Friday.
How do I upload my order of service design?
You should upload your booklet artwork after placing your order. To do this, complete your order and then email your artwork to our Studio team at artwork@instantprint.co.uk who’ll then set it up for print for you.
