Our Customer Service team love what they do – helping your business flourish with print that makes you look amazing. Because of this, they work hard to offer a 5 star service for every customer.
We went behind the scenes and shone the spotlight on Nathan, one of our Customer Service Advisors to find out what his role involves, why he loves working at instantprint and why answering queries over our Live Chat is such a fulfilling role.


1.    When did you start working at instantprint? 

I started working at instantprint in August 2018, so I’m still a fresh face!


2.    What does your role involve? 

My role involves being the first line of contact for customers via our Live Chat. In the Customer Service team, we can answer any queries you might have, whether that be over online chat or email, ensuring first time resolution and making every point of contact an enjoyable experience! 

 

3.    How does your role fit into the journey of an instantprint customer’s print?

The best thing about being on the Live Chat team is that we speak to customers at all stages of their order. This allows us to provide guidance and support in the beginning, we can check up on the order in the middle, and iron out those finer details towards the end. 


4.    What makes you proud about working at instantprint?

Being a business owner myself, I’m proud to be a part of a quickly expanding and growing company that takes the time and goes the extra mile for small businesses. Nothing makes me happier than getting a customer come through on live chat who is beaming with the order they’ve received!


5.    What’s your favourite project that you’ve worked on so far?

Recently I’ve been working with the rest of the team to enhance the customer journey by creating resources such as videos and simplified tutorials. 
We know how difficult it can be printing for the first time, whether it be bundling your first order into the basket or creating a product using our design online service. We want to make that experience as straight forward and stress free as possible. 


6.    Tell us about your downtime hobbies or a random fact about yourself

I studied Video Game Art and Graphic Design at University so I spend the majority of my time checking out the newest releases, playing around with 3D or being arty wherever I generally can. 
When I’m not getting all creative or kicking back to a good video game, I enjoy creating candles and wax melts for my side business; who doesn’t like a nice smelling house?

 

7.    Tell us about a standard day in the instantprint office for you? 

A standard day for the Live Chat team is always a busy one. I really enjoy having chats with our customers, and I always make sure to give the same level of service I’d like to receive. Always feel free to ask for me if we’ve spoken before, I love a familiar face!


8.    What do you enjoy most about working at instantprint?

My favourite thing about working for instantprint is, without a doubt, my colleagues. I love coming into the office every day and being greeted with a positive and uplifting atmosphere. The hot drink runs are always on point and I’m never without a nice brew! 

The cherry on the top is definitely the customers I get to speak to on a daily basis. They always bring upbeat and positive conversation to every chat.
