In this spotlight, we spoke with Gabrielle Pacitti, founder of Girls Craft Club, a women only arts and crafts social club built around creativity, connection and community. What began as a personal response to burnout has grown into a welcoming space where women can slow down, switch off and rediscover joy through making.

Tell us about your business! Who are you, what do you do, what’s your history, where did it all start?

I’m the founder of GCC, a women only arts and crafts social club created to bring people together through creativity, conversation and shared experiences. I wanted to build the kind of space I wished existed - warm, welcoming and free from pressure - where women could come alone or with friends and feel completely at ease.

My background combines creativity and business. I hold a diploma in Art and Design and a bachelor’s degree in Art History from The University of Edinburgh, and I’ve worked across luxury retail, jewellery design, community art and social media.

In 2025, after feeling burnt out and disconnected from creativity, I realised many other women might be craving something slower and more human too. That realisation became the catalyst for GCC. At its heart, GCC isn’t just about arts and crafts, it’s about belonging, wellbeing and rediscovering joy through creativity.

What is your main challenge and how do you overcome it?

One of the biggest challenges today is helping people form real connections and return to a slower, more creative way of living in an increasingly digital world. GCC addresses that by creating cosy, welcoming in-person events where creativity becomes the icebreaker. Whether someone comes alone or with friends, they leave feeling inspired, relaxed and part of something special.

What made you choose instantprint?

I actually chose instantprint many years ago. They’ve accompanied me through three different business ventures dating back to 2014. I’ve always found the quality reliable, the ordering process easy and the results consistently professional, which is exactly what you need when your brand reputation is on the line.

The team are super friendly and always on hand to help, and I really value supporting independent businesses.

Thinking about your wins with print marketing, what advice would you give to businesses like yours?

Print marketing creates an immediate, tangible connection that digital alone can’t quite replicate. In my case, it’s especially helpful when I’m approaching local shops in person and pitching potential collaborations.
My advice is to invest in quality and design something that truly reflects your brand, because it makes all the difference to first impressions. You only get to make those once.

How do you make your customers feel special and understood?

At GCC, everything is designed to feel thoughtful and personal, from the atmosphere at events to the small details like printed materials, welcome touches and curated experiences. I want members to feel seen, comfortable and excited to return. It’s about creating a space where everyone feels they belong.

That often starts with something simple, like handing out a business card when I’m out and about and meet women I think would love to join, or businesses that could potentially collaborate with GCC.

What print products do you order from us and how have they brought you success?

I order a range of products, but business cards are essential for me. They’re perfect for networking, partnerships and spontaneous opportunities. I absolutely love the velvet touch finish with UV spot on my cards and I’ve had so many comments on how luxurious and memorable they feel.

In a world where business cards can often feel predictable, I love the difference that instantprint makes by allowing me to personalise them. The tactile element really reflects GCC’s creative personality and helps the brand stand out instantly.

What are your top print tips for other creators and businesses?

Tailor your print to your brand’s personality and keep it current. I like my cards to feel soft to the touch and to have a UV spot that reflects the creative flair GCC brings. I also include a QR code so people can instantly access my socials and information. It keeps things modern, convenient and user friendly.

I love that it keeps my business card neat yet still very informative. One of my favourite things is that even if I update the links connected to the QR code, my business cards stay the same and there’s no need to reprint.

Why do you use print marketing alongside digital marketing?

Digital is powerful, but print offers immediate interest and a lasting physical reminder. A beautiful card or flyer can sit on someone’s desk, in their wallet or on their fridge, continuing to work for you long after the initial interaction.

I also offer customer loyalty cards, which always spark intrigue and excitement, and it’s really nice to have something physical that can be signed or stamped during events. Together, print and digital create a much stronger overall presence.
