Each time you purchase an order with us, it goes through a detailed and rigorous process, where it will be seen by numerous printing professionals. Our dedicated Production Stream Managers are in full control of workflow efficiency so your printed products are of the best quality and are in your hands as soon as possible.

We went behind the scenes and shone the spotlight on Vinny Arblaster, our Inkjet Stream Manager to find out how he ensures every large format or business card order meets the the high standards we set for ourselves.

  1. When did you start working at instantprint?

I started working at instantprint around four and a half years ago, but initially got into print when I was 16 where I started off as a printer before making my way up to a senior manager – that’s 32 years of print experience!

  1. What does your role involve? (Be specific and detailed)

My role involves managing both the large format workflow and our business card cell, which is part of our factory dedicated solely to business card printing, to ensure that all the daily work is dispatched on time and to the correct quality.

  1. How does your role fit into the journey of an instantprint customer’s print?

If all of the above comes together as it should, my role helps make the customers’ experience of us as a business a positive one – and will hopefully make their decision as to whether they’ll print with us again an easy one!

  1. What makes you proud about working at instantprint?

The progress I’ve seen since joining the company has been incredible. I think a huge part of that is our level of customer service. One thing that makes us different is that, no matter the workload or how complex an order is, we’re always customer focused.

  1. What’s your favourite project that you’ve worked on so far?

Most recently, my favourite project took place over the last bank holiday (Saturday, Sunday and Monday). In that time, we produced over 1 million business cards ready to send out on Tuesday. It was a fantastic achievement for the whole team!

  1. Tell us about your downtime hobbies or a random fact about yourself

Okay, random fact about me: I’ve just celebrated my 26th wedding anniversary, which I think is a pretty good achievement!

  1. Tell us about a standard day in the instantprint office for you?

As the manager of the business card cell and large format stream, I have to communicate with my supervisor and team leaders to make sure they’re provided with the right information to fulfil this requirement. In turn, this helps the team leaders to keep the entire team on track to hit their deadlines.

  1. What do you enjoy most about working at instantprint?

Of the years I’ve worked at instantprint, the most enjoyable part and simplest answer I can give is that I look forward to coming to work every single day, no matter what the challenges are (and there are a few). I love to know that I’m contributing to making instantprint a world class organisation.
