What colour is the wire coil?
All wire bound booklets come with a silver wire.
How big is the wire coil?
Wire coil diameter measures 6mm – 14mm depending on page count.
Where is lamination applied?
If you choose to add a coating of matt or gloss lamination, we apply this to the outside of the cover.
What paper type should I choose?
150gsm silk is our thickest option and is a classic paper type for booklets.
Go for our uncoated, writable option for workbooks or booklets that need filling in.
130gsm gloss is a high-shine finish that’s ideal for catalogues.
What cover type should I choose?
For your cover, choose from three thicker stocks to protect the inside pages.
250gsm is our standard option. Go for 350gsm for a heavier cover, or writable if you want the cover to be filled in.
What does ‘pp’ mean?
‘Pp’ refers to printed pages.
When will my booklets be delivered?
Booklet orders approved by 6:30pm will be dispatched for delivery within two working days.
Delivery takes a further working day. For example, if you approved your order by 6:30pm on a Monday, we’d dispatch your order on Wednesday and it’d be delivered on Thursday.
How do I upload my booklet design?
You should upload your booklet artwork after placing your order.
To do this, complete your order and then email your artwork to our Studio team at artwork@instantprint.co.uk who’ll then set it up for print for you.

Standard Turnarounds
For our standard turnaround and delivery options, you have until 6:30pm to order and approve your artwork. Simply select an option above with a delivery date that suits you and we’ll ensure it arrives with you on time.
Extended Areas
If your delivery address is in one of the postcodes highlighted on our delivery help page as an extended area, delivery will take a further working day.
Delivery Prices
Our standard delivery cost is £4.99, which is DPD tracked delivery. You can also upgrade to DPD pre-noon delivery for £9.99. Standard delivery is free on orders over £75. You'll be able to select your delivery option at the checkout. For more information, please see our delivery help page .

Setting Up Your Wire Bound Book
We recommend you download one of our blank templates that can be found in the templates section or use the product measurements on the right to create a design in a third-party tool.
Please supply your artwork as a single PDF containing all pages in the correct sequence order. When preparing your artwork, ensure you follow the template provided, allowing for the spine width and maintaining the required safe area around the wire binding.
If you are emailing your design over to us, please note, due to the extra checks that we carry out for this product, it can take up to 4 hours to receive your proof.
