Instantprint started as a small, start-up business and then rapidly grew into a leading competitor in the online printing industry producing flyers, business cards and posters for small and micro businesses. We’re always striving to support and empower other small businesses to grow and expand too. Recently we launched the Start-Up Hub, a micro-website filled with informative articles aimed at business owners, which we think is a great example of how we support and encourage business owners across the UK.

But we wanted to go further! The 2017 BIG Small Business Survey asked 500 small business owners a range of questions from how they manage their time to what makes them more productive in the workplace. This resulted in some really intriguing answers, such as how 46% of small business owners find that making a hot drink is the best way to enjoy taking a break and that shockingly only 40% of male business owners would describe themselves as dedicated!

The responses were not only fascinating, getting inside the heads of all those business owners, but they also gave us great insight as to what advice you would find useful on the Start-Up Hub and what resources we can offer business owners to increase productivity and time management!

Below is a selection of some of the most revealing 2017 Big Small Business Survey results. Do they reflect how you work?
