We’ve welcomed two impressive new teammates to our Rotherham factory and they’re already making their mark.

Say hello to our two new HEIDELBERG Speedmaster XL 106-8P printing presses, bringing even more speed, capacity and printing power to our production floor.

The pair have arrived as part of our wider £12 million factory investment programme. They’re now producing some of our most popular products up to 40% faster than the equipment they’ve replaced.

That’s an impressive number, but we know what you’re really thinking: what does that mean for me?

Quite a lot, as it happens. More printing power helps us manage demand, maintain consistently high quality and work efficiently so we can continue offering competitive prices.

Here’s how those two very large additions to our factory can make a real difference to your order.

So, What Does This Mean For You?

You don’t place an order because you’re interested in factory machinery. You do it because you have something important to share.

Maybe you’re announcing your grand opening, introducing a new service or preparing for an event that’s been circled on the calendar for months. Whatever you’re working towards, you need your materials to look professional and move smoothly through production.

That’s where our new presses come in.

They’ll be busy producing flyers, folded leaflets and booklets, three hardworking marketing favourites used by businesses every day. By producing these popular products more efficiently, the presses give our factory extra capacity and help us prepare for growing demand.

The machinery might be complex. The benefit to you is simple: you can order knowing we have even more production power behind us.

More Printing Power, More Breathing Room

Our new HEIDELBERG presses can work up to 40% faster than the equipment they’ve replaced.

For you, that means more than paper travelling quickly through a machine. Each run can be completed sooner, creating more room in our production schedule for the orders waiting to follow.

Think of it as opening another checkout when things get busy. The queue keeps moving and everyone gets where they need to be.

That extra breathing room becomes particularly valuable during the busiest points in the business calendar. Christmas campaigns, exhibitions, summer sales and seasonal events have a habit of arriving all at once.

With two presses working side by side, we’re better equipped to manage those peaks and keep production flowing.

Your deadline matters to your business. This investment gives us even more capacity to help you meet it.

Your Design Looks The Part

Speed is useful, but only when the finished result still looks brilliant.

Whether your design uses bold colours, detailed imagery or lots of carefully positioned information, every copy needs to look the part.

Our new presses are designed to maintain accurate colour and clean detail throughout an entire run. Whether you need hundreds of copies or a much larger quantity, each piece should look every bit as professional as the next.

That consistency matters when your materials represent your business.

You’ve chosen your colours, refined your design and checked every last detail. The finished product should bring all that hard work together and help your brand make the right impression.

You won’t see the technology checking colour and detail behind the scenes. What you will see is a professional result you’ll feel confident putting in front of your customers.

Less Setup, More Time Printing

Every order is different.

One job could feature colourful photography and bold graphics. The next might use a completely different size, design or paper. Before production begins, the press needs to be prepared for every new specification.

Our new equipment automates more of that preparation, helping our team move smoothly from one job to another.

We’ve also installed a system that carries printing plates directly from our imaging department to the presses. It might sound like a short trip across the factory, but removing those repeated steps saves valuable time over a busy production day.

What does that mean for you? Less time spent getting ready and more time bringing orders to life.

Greater efficiency also helps us make better use of our equipment, materials and team. That supports our ability to offer competitive prices while maintaining the quality you expect.

It all happens out of sight, but the benefit makes its way into every order.

Lithographic Printing Without The Lecture

Our new HEIDELBERGs are lithographic presses, often shortened to litho presses.

Here’s the simple version.

Lithographic printing uses plates to transfer your design onto paper. Once everything is ready, the presses can produce larger quantities quickly while keeping colour and detail consistent.

That makes the process a great choice when you need plenty of professionally printed copies without sacrificing quality.

There’s some seriously clever engineering involved, but you don’t need to know your cylinders from your printing plates to benefit from it.

You create the design. We handle the complicated bit. The finished result looks the way it should.

Clever Technology, Experienced People

Our new presses can handle more of the production process automatically, but brilliant results still need experienced people behind them.

Our manufacturing teams have completed training on the equipment, adding the latest technology to their years of hands-on knowledge.

Automation handles more repetitive tasks and manual preparation. That gives our skilled operators more time to oversee your job, check quality and keep everything running smoothly.

The presses provide speed and precision. Our people bring experience, judgement and attention to detail.

It’s that combination that turns your design from a file on a screen into something you’ll be proud to hold, share and place in front of your customers.

An Investment Built Around Your Business

New machinery is exciting for us, especially when it arrives in pairs. But this investment isn’t simply about having bigger and faster equipment on our factory floor.

It’s about making your experience better.

More capacity helps us stay on top of demand during busy periods. Greater consistency helps your design look professional across every copy. Smarter production supports competitive pricing and gives our team more time to focus on quality.

Most importantly, it helps us prepare for whatever you’re working towards next.

You might never see our two new HEIDELBERG presses hard at work in Rotherham (though you could register your interest here for an upcoming expo, which includes a tour of our factory if that's what you're interested in). What you will see is what they make possible: dependable service, professional results and a team that’s always looking for better ways to support your business.
