There’s been a new arrival at our Rotherham production facility and it certainly knows how to make an impression.

Meet the Canon varioPRINT iX3200, our new high speed inkjet press and the latest addition to our growing production line up.

It’s part of our wider £12 million factory investment programme and can produce around 9,120 double sided SRA3 sheets every hour. That’s 152 sheets a minute, so by the time you’ve made a cuppa, it could already have worked its way through a sizeable run.

An impressive number, certainly. But we know what you’re really thinking: what does that mean for me?

It means we have more capacity to manage your order, greater flexibility across different paper choices and another way to deliver the professional quality your business needs. It’s also opening the door to new products, giving you even more ways to put print to work.

So, What Does This Mean For You?

You don’t place an order because you’re excited about inkjet technology. You order because you need something real for your business.

Perhaps you’ve got an important meeting in the diary, an event fast approaching or a new idea that’s ready to leave the screen and land in someone’s hands.

Whatever you’re working towards, waiting around isn’t usually part of the plan.

Our new Canon gives us another powerful way to keep production moving. It can handle shorter jobs and larger quantities efficiently, move smoothly between different orders and produce professional results across a wide choice of paper.

The clever technology stays inside our factory. You get the benefits where they matter: in the quality, choice and dependable service behind your order.

More Capacity When Deadlines Are Looming

Print deadlines have a habit of creeping up quickly.

One minute, your event feels months away. The next, you’re checking the calendar and wondering where all that time went.

The Canon gives us additional capacity to manage more work across our production operation. Its speed helps each job progress efficiently, while quick changes between orders and paper types mean less time standing still.

Think of it as adding another lane to a busy road. There’s more room for everything to keep moving, even when demand picks up.

That matters during those packed points in the business calendar when launches, exhibitions, promotions and seasonal campaigns all seem to happen at once.

This isn’t about rushing jobs out of the door. It’s about giving our team more breathing room to manage busy periods without losing sight of the standards your order needs to meet.

Quality That Checks Itself As It Goes

Working quickly is only useful when the finished result still looks the part.

Your design might include fine text, colourful photography or important details that need to remain clear. Whatever is on the page, each copy should look as professional as the next.

The Canon monitors quality while it works, spotting potential inconsistencies and making adjustments during production. In simple terms, it keeps a close eye on its own work.

That helps maintain sharp detail and reliable colour throughout the run, without relying on someone to catch every tiny change by eye.

For you, there’s no need to think about printheads, nozzles or resolution figures. What matters is that your design is reproduced clearly and consistently, ready to represent your business with confidence.

More Freedom To Choose The Right Paper

Paper does far more than hold your design. It changes how that design looks, feels and comes across to the person holding it.

A smooth coated finish can help colours feel bright and energetic. An uncoated stock can create a softer, more natural feel. A heavier paper can add weight and presence to the finished piece.

Our new Canon can work across a broad selection of coated and uncoated stocks, including paper weights of up to 350gsm. Canon’s technical information also highlights its ability to switch between different media efficiently while maintaining consistent quality.

What does that mean for you? More freedom to choose a finish that suits your design, your message and the impression you want to make.

Our team gains greater production flexibility. You gain more ways to make your idea feel right on paper.

Creating New Possibilities For Your Business

The Canon isn’t only helping us produce existing orders more efficiently. It’s also helping us develop useful new additions to our range.

One of the first examples is our personalised NCR Pads.

NCR stands for No Carbon Required. These practical pads create multiple handwritten copies of the same form, making them useful for invoices, receipts, delivery notes and job sheets.

Producing them requires accurate printing across the specialist sheets used in each set. Names, prices, quantities and signatures all need to remain clear, particularly when the paperwork plays an important role in your day to day operation.

The Canon’s reliable paper handling and consistent output have helped us bring this product into our range.

It’s a small pad with a very practical job, but it shows the bigger opportunity behind this investment. Greater production flexibility gives us more scope to create products around the way you actually work.

Clever Technology, Expertly Operated

The Canon can automate more of the production process, but impressive machinery is only part of the story.

Canon worked closely with our South Yorkshire production team throughout the planning, installation and training process. That means our specialists understand how to get the best from the press and how it fits into our wider operation.

Automation takes care of more of the repetitive monitoring and preparation. Our people bring the experience, judgement and attention to detail needed to oversee your job properly.

The press might check its own output, but there’s still a knowledgeable team checking the bigger picture.

That combination of smart technology and hands on expertise gives you something far more valuable than an impressive specification sheet: confidence in the people producing your order.

Part Of Our £12 Million Factory Investment

Our new Canon forms part of a £12 million programme designed to strengthen our Rotherham operation and prepare us for what comes next.

For us, that means investing in equipment, training and new production possibilities.

For you, it means choosing a print partner that continues to build for the future of your business as well as its own.

The Canon is fast, flexible and seriously clever, but the machine itself isn’t the real headline. What matters is what it allows us to do for you today and what it could help us create tomorrow.

Your next idea might already be waiting. We’re making sure our factory is ready for it.
