We’re excited to announce our support of a new event for entrepreneurs, Founderfest. The three- day event is designed for new and young entrepreneurs to make the most out of getting started with their business.
With an agenda boasting hints and tips on networking, finding business mentors, developing your business model, and pitch preparation, there’s something to help any new entrepreneur!
The positive atmosphere created by bringing innovative young minds into a central place is compounded by a bit of healthy competition, too! (But never to the detriment of the supportive atmosphere, of course).
The weekend is set up to bring entrepreneurs together into teams, create a unique pitch for a new business idea, and work with their team to become winners of the weekend! The idea is to gather together different entrepreneur personality types, from creative, technical, and hustler styles, to help people develop their team working and networking skills.
Each team can present their business idea to a panel of judges, who’ll consider key aspects such as customer validation, execution and design, and business model. Attendees will present ideas using a range of pitch techniques, from website wireframes to apps, slide decks to videos and live product demos. Even comedy skits are allowed if they fit the product and brand idea!
We’re proud to be supporting such an innovative event for entrepreneurs. Our Think Big startup hub is all about providing advice and assistance to new businesses and freelance hustlers, so it’s a brilliant opportunity to develop a synergistic relationship with such a fun event focussed on developing business skills for entrepreneurs.
The next FounderFest event is taking place this Friday 9th March at Canary Wharf London. If you’ve missed this event but want to sign up to the next one, check out the FounderFest website here to register!
