What material are vinyl floor stickers printed on?
Our vinyl floor stickers are printed on 95mic white removable floor vinyl. This is a super-adhesive stock that’s really thin, so it only gives a slight (barely noticeable) raise on the floor which helps prevent the edges from tripping people up and peeling.
We apply a 100 micron clear PVC film laminate to all stickers, which means your print is protected against abrasion, moisture and colour fade due to UV, plus your stickers are slip-resistant (assessment group R 9- DIN 51130).
How do I apply my printed floor vinyl?
To apply your sticker, you’ll first need to clean the area of floor with solvents to remove any grease or dirt that could prevent adhesion. Then, take a clean, dry rag and wipe the area again.
Next, peel away a small area of the backing paper to expose the adhesive.
Position the graphic where you’d like it on the floor, sticking the small area you’ve peeled away down.
Remove the backing and apply the sticker with pressure using a squeegee or roller, making sure to avoid trapping any air bubbles.
Can I clean the floor stickers once they’re down?
Yes, you can! Our stickers are made to withstand the wear and tear of high foot traffic areas, but this means they will occasionally need to be cleaned. To clean your banner, please wait at least 24 hours after applying it.
Just clean using the same technique you would use to clean the floor using diagonal brush strokes!
What kinds of surfaces can I apply my graphic to?
Any kind of flat flooring works well with our vinyl stickers, however, painted surfaces will affect the adhesive. We also don’t recommend using vinyl stickers on stairways or joints as these are areas with a high risk of stumbling and peeling.
When will I receive my vinyl stickers order?
Our vinyl stickers take two working days to print and one working day for delivery, meaning they could be with you in as little as three working days. For example, if you ordered your stickers on a Monday, they’d be dispatched for delivery on Wednesday and delivered on Thursday.
