What is spot UV?
Spot UV is a glossy finish applied to specific areas of a printed document to make them stand out. It’s commonly used to highlight logos and key information as well as create patterns.
How are spot UV invites printed?
Once your flyers have been printed, they’ll go through our MGI JetVarnish. A thin layer of UV gloss will be applied to specific areas of your artwork before being set and cured with UV and heat for a lasting finish.
How do I set up my design for spot UV?
Follow our guide to set up your artwork for spot UV. Alternatively, our team is happy to do this for you at no additional cost. After placing your order, email artwork@instantprint.co.uk with your design and order reference number letting us know where you'd like the spot UV to go and we'll get this set up for you!
What if I don’t have a invites design?
No design? No problem! In our library you’ll find a range of invites design templates which are ideal for helping you to get started, or even if you need a little bit of inspiration. If you already have an idea or design in mind but are unsure about getting your template set up, you’re in luck. Our internal team have created blank invites design templates which are available online and are compatible with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and PDF.
How do I upload my invites design?
When you add your invites to your basket, you’ll be prompted to upload your artwork. Or, if you want to continue shopping, simply upload your artwork in your basket at a later time!
When will my invites be delivered?
Invites printing orders approved by 6:30pm will be dispatched for delivery the next working day. Delivery takes a further working day. For example, if you approve your order by 6:30pm on a Monday, we’ll dispatch your order on Tuesday and it will be delivered on Wednesday.
