This one's built to make the introduction for you. instantprint's Premium Business Cards are printed on ultra-thick 450gsm card using a Heidelberg Speedmaster lithographic press, for sharp text and vibrant, consistent colour. Each card is precision cut using the same punch-cutting technology used to trim casino playing cards, and you can choose square or rounded corners. What happens in Vegas doesn't have to stay in Vegas!

Premium Business Cards FAQs
Which paper type should I choose?
450gsm silk is ultra-thick with a smooth finish and subtle sheen that keeps colours vibrant and details sharp. It's the only Premium stock that can be laminated, and the one to choose if you want Spot UV or gold foil.
350gsm uncoated has a natural, textured feel and is the easiest to write on, making it ideal for appointment cards, loyalty cards or anywhere you'll add handwritten notes.
Both stocks are available with square or rounded corners.
What's the difference between matt, gloss and velvet lamination?
All three laminations are available on 450gsm silk and add durability to your cards.
Matt lamination gives a smooth, non-reflective finish for a clean, understated look. Please note, matt lamination isn't greaseproof.
Gloss lamination adds a high-shine finish that makes colours and images pop.
Velvet lamination has a soft-touch, luxurious feel that stands out the moment someone picks your card up.
If you want to add Spot UV or gold foil, choose matt or velvet lamination.
When will my business cards be delivered?
For our standard turnaround and delivery options, order and approve your artwork by 6:30pm. You'll see your estimated delivery date at checkout before you pay.
If your delivery address is in an extended delivery area, including parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, delivery takes a further working day. We currently deliver to UK addresses only. Standard delivery is free on orders over £75.
Need your cards faster? Our Next Day Business Cards are available for delivery the next working day. Rounded corners aren't available on next day orders.
Can I write on Premium Business Cards?
Yes, you can write on all Premium Business Cards. A ballpoint pen (biro) works on 450gsm silk and laminated cards but may smudge. For a fully writable card, we recommend 350gsm uncoated.
Can I order different designs in one order?
Yes. Add each design to your basket as a separate item, for example one per member of staff.
Can instantprint design my business cards?
We don't offer a design service, but you can create your card with our free online design tool, or upload your own finished artwork, including designs made in Canva.
Can I add Spot UV or gold foil to Premium Business Cards?
Yes, on 450gsm silk cards with matt or velvet lamination. Spot UV can be printed on one or both sides, including on rounded-corner cards. Gold foil is available on one side only.
Do you offer square business cards?
No, square-shaped business cards are no longer available. Premium Business Cards are 85mm x 55mm, the standard UK business card size, with a choice of standard square-cut corners or rounded corners.
How do I set up foil artwork for my business cards?
Supply your normal artwork plus a separate foil file showing only the areas you want foiled. Keep all foil at least 3mm from the edge of the card and use a minimum font size of 8pt. Follow our Foil Artwork Guide for step-by-step setup.
Do you offer embossing, custom sizes or other finishes?
Embossing, debossing, custom sizes, custom or die-cut shapes, plastic (PVC) cards and metallic ink aren't available. For a raised, tactile finish, choose Spot UV. For a metallic effect, choose gold foil.
