Which paper type should I choose?
What you’re using your A4 poster for will determine what type of paper stock you should choose. If the lifespan of your advertisement is only short - for example if it’s a weekend only sale - you may only want to opt for our value silk (150gsm) paper type. This will help you keep the costs down, while still producing a good quality poster. If you’re going to be using your A4 poster a few times – for example if you’re printing off a restaurant menu that is going to be used for months to come – our classic silk (250gsm) is a great choice. It’s both high quality and is a good all-rounder. Looking for a paper stock with a longer lifespan? Perhaps your hanging notices in your shop window or around your company offices. Our premium silk (350gsm) is what you need for your A4 poster printing..

How does my A4 poster printing online work?
From the moment your design arrives with our experienced team in the office, to its departure out of the warehouse, your A4 posters go on an incredible journey here at instantprint HQ. Once it has passed with flying colours through our rigorous 10 Point Quality Check, your design goes off to be printed on our impressive Scitex and Indigo printing presses.
How do I upload my poster design?
When you add your posters to your basket, you’ll be prompted to upload your artwork. Or, if you want to continue shopping, you can upload your artwork in your basket at a later time.
What are waterproof posters made from?
Our waterproof posters are printed on durable PVC rather than traditional paper. This makes them wipeable, tear-resistant and better suited to areas where they may be exposed to moisture.
When will my Posters be delivered?
Poster printing orders approved by 6:30pm will be dispatched for delivery the next working day. Delivery takes a further working day. For example, if you approve your order by 6:30pm on a Monday, we’ll dispatch your order on Tuesday and it will be delivered on Wednesday
Depending on your product requirements, we can also offer posters on a next day service if you opt for a silk finish.
Are waterproof posters suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Waterproof PVC posters are suitable for indoor and outdoor displays where additional durability is needed. For longer-term outdoor use, securely fix the poster and consider how exposed it will be to strong winds or extreme weather.
