How to design a letterhead
Whether you have your own inhouse design team or are taking on the project yourself, designing your own business letterhead is easier than you think. With a few simple tips to get you set up, you’ll be putting all those creative ideas in your head into your chosen design.
Before you get started, it’s important to note that we print your business paper to A4 size, which is 210mm x 297mm, so set your artwork up at 216mm x 303mm to allow for a 3mm bleed on both sides. You’ll need to ensure your colour mode is set as CMYK, and that if you use any imagery it is high resolution only (at least 300dpi). If you use any special or branded fonts then you will need to either embed or flatten them to ensure they print correctly.
Still unsure how to set up your file? Don’t worry, we've created support guides on our blog to help you with everything from bleed to resolution. Click on the guide you'd like to read to open them in a new window.
