What’s the difference between Stapled, Wire Bound and Perfect Bound Booklets?
  • Stapled Booklets: Folded sheets secured with staples, ideal for shorter brochures, programmes and magazines.
  • Wire Bound Booklets: Pages held together with wire loops that lie flat and fold back, ideal for manuals and workbooks.
  • Perfect Bound Booklets: Pages glued into a wraparound cover with a square spine, ideal for books, catalogues and longer publications.
How many pages can my Wire Bound Booklet have?

Choose from 20–400 printed pages, in increments of two.

“PP” means printed pages. Each side of a sheet counts as one page, including intentional blank pages.

Which paper should I choose for my Wire Bound Booklet?
  • Uncoated: Writable paper for workbooks and notes. Available in 90gsm, 120gsm or 170gsm.
  • Silk: Smooth with a subtle sheen, ideal for reports and presentations. Available in 115gsm, 150gsm or 170gsm.
  • Gloss: Shiny 130gsm paper for photographs and image-led content.

How should I supply my Wire Bound Booklet artwork?

Supply one PDF with individual pages in reading order, from front cover to back cover, including any blanks.

  • Add 3mm bleed around each page.
  • Keep text, logos and page numbers at least 10mm from the binding edge.

Can I include blank pages or lined note pages?

Yes. Include blank or lined pages in your PDF in the exact order you want them to appear. Choose uncoated paper for pages that will be written on.
