How to make a PVC banner
Whether you’re producing the artwork yourself or have an in-house design team, it’s quick and easy to get your PVC banner artwork set up and ready to go. No matter if you’re using Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or another design software, we have a downloadable template to help get you started.
Choose the perfect size for you and your business from the vinyl banner sizes in our range and add a 25mm bleed to the length and width in your design program. The bleed area is a thin border around your artwork which helps ensure there are no unwanted borders left over after trimming – it means your design looks as clean and professional as possible.
You will also need to add a 36mm safety area to account for hemming* and eyelets** and set your colour mode as CMYK. To make sure your PVC banners are printed looking their best, use high resolution images only (at least 300dpi) and embed or flatten your fonts as we may not have them on our system!
*Banners are hemmed with a 15mm hem
**Eyelets included as standard at approx. 500mm intervals
