Whether you choose A6 double sided flyers or opt for single sided, designing the artwork yourself or getting your in-house design team to help is easy. We’ve compiled some helpful tips on getting started with the design process:
Ensuring you set up your A6 flyer template correctly is crucial. Your finished A6 flyer size will be 105mm x 148mm, so you’ll need to set your artwork up at 111mm x 154mm to add your all-important 3mm bleed to both sides.
You must set your colour mode to CMYK and use high resolution images (at least 300dpi) only as using anything less than this can affect the finished A6 flyer printing quality. Using bespoke or specialist brand fonts in your design? You’ll need to ensure you embed or flatten them as we may not hold these in our arsenal here at instantprint.
Want to add an extra layer of pizazz? Spot UV is available on premium and classic silk A6 flyers with matt lamination. Check out our Spot UV guide for help setting this up.
Still unsure how to set up your file? Don’t worry, we've created support guides on our blog to help you with everything from bleed to resolution. Click on the guide you'd like to read to open them in a new window.

What if I don’t have an A6 flyer design?
No design? No problem! We have an array of A6 leaflet templates in our library which are perfect if you need a helping hand to get started, or need a little bit of inspiration to get the creativity flowing.
Got an idea in your head but not sure about setting up a template? You’re in luck. We have blank templates available online for your A6 leaflets, compatible with several design programs such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and PDF.
Which paper type should I choose for my A6 flyers?
What you’ll be using your flyers for, what look and feel you’re wanting to achieve and what your budget is are all factors to consider when it comes to choosing the right paper type for your project.
Our value silk (150gsm) is ideal if you’re wanting to keep costs down, and is the same quality as most other printing companies’ “standard” paper type.
For something a little more luxury, our classic silk (250gsm) and premium silk (350gsm) paper options add both more weight and an extra thickness, giving them that high-end finished look and feel.
Perhaps you’re environmentally conscious, like us? Our recycled and Kraft stock are both high quality but also add something a little different to the end result of your A6 flyers.
